Corewell Health’s Farmington Hills Hospital is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to support the Central Processing team. You will oversee workflow, precept students, resolve equipment and supply issues, and act as a resource on processing standards.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2 years of sterile processing experience, completion of a sterile processing program, and CSPDT or CRCST certification upon hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of relevant experience in sterile processing.
• Successful completion of sterile processing program.

Responsibilities

• Oversee workflow and precept CP tech students and staff.
• Address equipment and supply issues per policies and AAMI standards.
• Provide input on staff evaluations and assist with staff development on shift.
• Serve as a role model and resource for processing of instruments and supplies.
