Job summary

White Plains Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Central Supply Technician/Sterilization to support instrument processing for the operating rooms and related areas. You will decontaminate, rinse, sterilize and package instruments, ensure proper labeling, and maintain sterile storage and supply distribution across departments.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, CRCST or CSPDT certification (or grandfathering), and experience in central supply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification required or grandfathered.
• Previous central supply/instrument processing experience preferred.
• Must be able to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Sort, decontaminate, rinse and disinfect instruments and clinical equipment.
• Operate and troubleshoot cleaning equipment and maintain safety standards.
• Assemble, wrap, label and package instruments per recipes and standards.
• Handle sterile supplies, maintain proper storage and track inventory.
