Job summary

Memorial Health University Medical Center is seeking a Certified Lead Sterile Processing Technician to ensure instruments and supplies are clean, sterile, and ready for patient care. You will lead and train the Sterile Processing team, collaborate with the surgical staff, and maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles and safety checks.

Qualified candidates hold CSPDT or CRCST certification and have at least five years of sterile processing experience.

Qualifications

• CSPDT or CRCST certification required.
• Minimum 5 years experience in sterile processing.
• Experience leading and training a Sterile Processing team preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and trays.
• Operate and maintain sterilization equipment; document cycles and safety checks.
• Prepare surgical sets and case carts by reviewing daily schedules.
• Manage inventory and organize OR storage, ensuring timely supply for procedures.
• Lead and train the Sterile Processing team, set a positive example for safety and quality.
