Job summary

HCA Healthcare is recruiting a Certified Lead Sterile Processing Technician to ensure instruments are clean, sterilized, and ready for patient care. You will lead a team, train staff, and uphold high safety and quality standards in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Responsibilities include instrument preparation, equipment maintenance, inventory management, and collaboration with the surgical team to ensure timely surgeries.

Qualifications

• Certified Sterile Processing Technician credentials required (CSPDT, CRCST, or CST).
• Experience leading a Sterile Processing team is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and trays.
• Operate and maintain sterilization equipment and document cycles and safety checks.
• Prepare surgical sets and case carts by reviewing schedules and gathering instruments.
• Manage inventory and organize supplies with the surgical team.
• Lead and train the Sterile Processing team and uphold safety and quality standards.
