Job summary

Commercial Steel Erection, Inc. seeks a Steel Erection Foreman to direct field crews on structural projects in the Madison Heights, VA area. You will organize tasks, read drawings, and ensure safety and quality while maintaining equipment and coordinating with management.

The role requires supervising up to a crew, coordinating with crane teams, and traveling as needed to project sites. Strong leadership and readiness for physically demanding work are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising steel erection crews on construction sites.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Organize, plan and prioritize work for the crew and maintain schedules.
• Inspect equipment, enforce safety and quality standards, and coordinate maintenance.
• Direct activities of all crew members, read drawings, and perform emergency repairs when needed.
