Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Senior Statistical Programmer to lead programming activities in North America. The role involves creating summary tables, listings, graphs, and derived datasets in accordance with the SAP and specifications, while ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with biostatisticians and programmers, lead other programming staff, and mentor junior associates, with the ability to manage multiple studies and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree, preferably in a scientific or statistical discipline; in lieu of degree, an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated programming experience.
• Extensive programming experience in SAS or other required software, preferably in a clinical trial environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Must be in North America to be considered.
• Develops tables, listings, graphs and derived datasets per SAP.
• Works to ensure outputs meet quality standards and project requirements.
• Performs validation programming and resolves discrepancies with team.
• Keeps project team informed of progress and issues.
• Follow applicable SOPs, WIs, and regulatory guidelines (ICH).
• Maintains project documentation and QA/QC records for inspection readiness.
• Manages scheduling and time constraints across multiple projects.
