Job summary

Syneos Health in the United States is seeking an experienced Senior Statistical Programmer to lead programming activities for clinical trials in the drug development life cycle. You will generate SAS outputs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure alignment with the statistical analysis plan and sponsor requirements.

The role requires extensive SAS programming, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a scientific/statistical discipline.
• Extensive SAS programming experience, preferably in a clinical trial environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understanding English.

Responsibilities

• Uses SAS or other software to develop programming code for summary tables, data listings, graphs, and derived datasets as specified.
• Ensures outputs meet quality standards and project requirements.
• Performs validation programming and collaborates with team members to resolve issues.
• Maintains organized project documentation and coding QC for inspection readiness.
• Manages scheduling and time constraints across multiple projects.
