Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Sr Statistical Programmer (NA Only) to join our Clinical Solutions team. This role focuses on developing custom SAS code to create tables, listings and graphs per the statistical analysis plan, while ensuring quality and timely delivery across multiple NA projects.

You will lead programming activities, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with biostatisticians and project teams. Strong English communication and regulatory know-how are essential, with remote work

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a scientific or statistical discipline; equivalent education/experience considered.
• Extensive programming experience in SAS or similar software, preferably in a clinical trial setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom programming code to generate summary tables, data listings, graphs and derived datasets as specified in the statistical analysis plan and programming specifications.
• Ensure outputs meet quality standards and project requirements.
• Perform validation programming and work with other programmers, biostatisticians, and project teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain well-organized project documentation, testing, and quality control documents ensuring inspection readiness.
• Manage scheduling and time constraints across multiple projects and adapt to timeline changes.
• Lead statistical programming activities and mentor other programming personnel.
• Participate in sponsor meetings, kickoff meetings, and bid defense meetings as statistical programming representative.
