Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a Line Cook in a hotel/resort or restaurant.
• Ability to work all stations on the line.
• Strong work ethic and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all menu items following recipes and yield guides.
• Directs, trains, and monitors performance of Line Cooks; maintain sanitation and organization.
• Prepare and assign production and prep work for Line Cooks; review priorities.
• Communicate additions or changes to assignments during the shift.
• Set up work stations with mis en place, tools, equipment and supplies; close out tasks at day end.
• Inform the Sous Chef of supplies needed for the day.
