Job summary

Fivetran is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead the Metadata team, owning the discovery API, catalog, lineage, and run history services. You will guide architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and drive end-to-end delivery of complex subsystems in a fully remote role with occasional Oakland, CA office visits.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, design excellence, and collaboration with QE to ensure reliability, performance, and high-quality code across distributed systems.
