Job summary
Brown University Health is seeking a Manager of Specialty Pharmacy Navigation Services to lead operational, strategic, and people leadership for the Specialty Pharmacy Access Services program. You will oversee Pharmacy Technician Navigators embedded in ambulatory clinics, standardize medication access workflows, and drive patient access, adherence, and financial outcomes.
You will own operational dashboards and KPIs, partner with pharmacy and clinic leadership, and contribute to program growth,
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, management, or related field preferred.
- Experience with pharmacy benefit management, prior authorizations, denials, appeals, and financial assistance processes.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare operations and payer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provides leadership to Pharmacy Technician Navigators and manages performance and development.
- Oversees daily operations of navigator services across specialty ambulatory clinics.
- Develops standardized workflows, SOPs, and documentation practices.
- Leads dashboards and KPIs to measure program performance and impact.
- Supports accreditation activities and quality improvement initiatives.
