Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Lead Specialist for its Crisis Support team in Bentonville to oversee incident monitoring, reporting, and stakeholder communication in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment. You will mentor teammates and set standards for excellence, ensuring timely, accurate guidance during incidents that affect associates, customers, facilities, or operations worldwide.

You will lead investigations, produce executive-ready reports, and coordinate requests from Legal, HR, and external agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Emergency Management, Risk Management, Security, or related field OR 2 years’ experience in security, emergency management, risk management, law enforcement, fire service, or related area.
• Bilingual preferred – English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and intake daily incidents reported by facilities; communicate critical information to stakeholders with precision and urgency.
• Maintain and uphold department standards for response metrics and customer service level expectations, serving as a quality benchmark for the team.
• Lead and assist with investigations, synthesizing emerging facts, trends, data, and potential operational impacts into clear, actionable intelligence.
• Create and review departmental reports including emergency alerts, situational summaries, and data summaries for leadership briefings.
• Coordinate information requests from partners including the Legal Department, Human Resources, and external agencies.
• Model and reinforce compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.

About the team

The Walmart Crisis Support team is a 24/7/365 global crisis monitoring and reporting center that intakes critical incidents including infrastructure incidents, threats related to criminal activities, geo‑political crises, weather‑related emergencies, and other events that may impact Walmart associates, customers, facilities, or operations worldwide.

What you’ll do

The annual salary range for this position is $60,000.00 - $110,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:
