Job summary

B&I Contractors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Special Projects Foreman to lead HVAC installation teams on large-scale commercial projects in Florida. You will supervise tradespeople, interpret blueprints, manage materials and ensure safety and scheduling compliance.

Qualifications

Completion of an apprenticeship program with journeyman experience.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned tradesman.
Interpret specification, blueprints, submittals and job orders as needed for area of supervision.
Direct assemblies and installations at job sites.
Order material, equipment and tools as needed to maintain efficient use of labor resource.
Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations.
Establish and adjust work sequences to meet construction schedule, using knowledge of capacities of equipment and assigned personnel.
Study schedules and estimate man-hour requirements for completion of job.
Analyze and resolve work problems.
Maintain time records and perform a variety of duties as assigned and which may change often.
