Job summary

Blue Origin LLC's Honeybee Robotics division in Southern California is seeking a Senior Thermal System/Analysis Engineer to lead the thermal control system design for space electro-mechanical and avionics systems.

You will develop and validate high-fidelity thermal models, oversee testing (TVAC, cycling), and mentor junior engineers while collaborating across disciplines to ensure safe, reliable spacecraft performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Level 4 (Senior): 8+ years in thermal systems engineering.
• Strong leadership and mentorship abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead the TCS architecture and design for space systems across all phases.
• Develop, validate, and maintain high-fidelity thermal models and perform analyses.
• Lead thermal test plans (TVAC, cycling) and verify compliance with requirements.
• Present results at design reviews and program milestones.
