Job summary

Telemetry Today LLC is seeking a Senior Staff Mechanical Engineer to lead a small team focused on mechanical design for CesiumAstro spacecraft and subsystems. You will oversee architecture trades, analysis, manufacturing, testing, qualification, and in-orbit support from concept to flight, collaborating across multiple engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

• Lead a team of engineers for mechanical aspects of spacecraft across the development lifecycle.
• Proficient in mechanical design, electronics packaging, CAD, thermal architecture, deployable structures and environmental qualification.
• Strong communication with customers and executive teams for design reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a small team through concept to space flight, ensuring robust mechanical designs.
• Collaborate with GNC, EPS, CDH, Payload, RF, Systems and AI&T teams to align on interfaces.
• Oversee qualification, manufacturing, testing, and in-orbit support of satellites.
