Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Gilbert, AZ seeks a senior Electrical Engineer to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Command and Data Handling systems for advanced spacecraft. You will own electrical system architecture and ensure robust, scalable data and control interfaces across flight hardware.

Responsibilities include defining ICDs, integrating hardware and software, leading design reviews, mentoring engineers, and managing cost and schedule for major programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related STEM field.
• 8+ years of related experience; 6+ years with a Master's; 4+ with PhD.
• Experience with flight hardware development and MRB/PM&P processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end architecture of spacecraft C&DH systems and data buses.
• Define and own electrical system architecture across C&DH and harness design.
• Oversee hardware/software integration and verification, ICDs, and interface control.
• Lead design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) and mentor junior engineers.
• Manage cost and scheduling for C&DH subsystems on major programs.
