Job summary

Amazon Leo Government (ALG) is seeking a Lead Research & Development Manufacturing Technician (L4) in Los Angeles to join the fast-paced engineering team building the Leo Government satellites. You will contribute to build, integration and test activities in both R&D and production environments.

You will maintain lab equipment, support testing campaigns (TVAC, vibration, EMI/EMC), ensure quality records, safety compliance, and collaboration with engineers and partners to meet timelines on large

Qualifications

• 4+ years hardware development in lab or aerospace environments.
• Experience with testing, qualification, and documentation of hardware.
• Familiar with 5S, ESD, clean room practices and safety protocols.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and fabricate/assemble components.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical/electrical satellite components and integrate final assemblies.
• Build solar modules/arrays and ensure lab equipment is calibrated.
• Support TVAC, vibration and EMI/EMC test campaigns under guidance.
• Route, terminate, and test wiring harnesses; maintain records per quality standards.
• Maintain safety, quality logs, non-conformances, and root-cause investigations.
