Job summary

Amazon Leo Government (ALG) seeks a Lead Research & Development Manufacturing Technician to join the team in Long Beach, CA. The role focuses on assembling, testing, and integrating satellite components for prototype and production stages, with emphasis on quality and process control.

Candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, coordinating with engineers and technicians to ensure throughput, reliability, and compliance with safety and space-grade standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years in hardware development, test lab, space/aerospace maintenance or hands-on engineering environment.
• Knowledge of tools and measurement devices (oscilloscope, frequency analyzer, or equivalent).
• 4+ years of commissioning experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical/electrical satellite components and sub-assemblies.
• Build solar modules and solar arrays.
• Maintain and calibrate lab equipment and test systems.
• Assist with safety, quality, and documentation per standards.
