Job summary

Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite network. We are seeking a hands-on manufacturing engineering professional to provide direct production floor support for mechanical sub-assemblies on the Leo satellite program.

You will be the go-to technical authority on the floor, rapidly troubleshooting issues and driving real-time solutions to keep the production line moving. You will own non-conformance resolution, drive root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions, while

Responsibilities

• Investigate and disposition non-conformances to support manufacturing.
• Production equipment design, procurement, installation, and qualification.
• Material flow planning and manufacturing process definition.
• Ability to support space hardware testing, including tooling design and data analysis.
• Strong understanding of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Testability (DFT) principles to optimize production processes and test efficiency
• Knowledge of data logging techniques and handling large data sets from test campaigns along with proficiency in processing test results including visualizations and analysis, using scripting tools or external data analysis software
• Familiarity with test equipment error logs and troubleshooting hardware and software integration problems
