Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in McGregor, Texas is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead multi-discipline infrastructure projects at the McGregor Rocket Development Facility and other company facilities. You will own tasks from scope to close, manage safety and regulatory approvals, and coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure on-time, under-budget delivery.

The role demands strong project management, cost control, and scheduling skills, with ITAR awareness

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management with 1+ years of field experience, or 5+ years of commercial construction experience will be considered in place of degree.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations; mark up and highlight coordination items on plans.
• Experience with project management of major construction projects including estimating, cost control, schedule, and contractor management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and own the full lifecycle of multidiscipline construction projects to achieve on-time and under-budget delivery with customer satisfaction.
• Provide guidance and input on preliminary scope and ROM costs.
• Gather proposals from architects, engineers, vendors, or contractors.
• Evaluate competitive bids and track cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop the final cost and schedule for the project; manage contracts with subcontractors.
• Coordinate with city, county, and regulatory approvals; ensure site safety and OSHA compliance.
• Monitor progress, resolve field design/construction conflicts, and manage night shift/early morning crews.
