Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks a Civil/Structural Engineer to join the Construction Projects team at the Rocket Development Facility in Texas, based in McGregor, TX. You will design, build, and activate infrastructure for aerospace and related projects, working with elite engineers across disciplines.

Responsibilities include leading project teams, producing drawings and reports, performing structural calculations, managing contracts, and providing onsite inspections to ensure compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering.
• 1+ year of professional experience in design or build of structural infrastructure.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% and work extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead project team, consulting engineers, and contractors through civil and structural design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Develop drawings, design documentation, and reports for aerospace, industrial, and commercial projects.
• Perform civil and structural design and analysis calculations for steel and concrete.
• Write, negotiate, and manage construction contracts with subcontractors across multiple disciplines.
• Manage civil and structural aspects of construction projects and liaise with clients.
• Provide onsite inspections and field observations; resolve design and construction conflicts.
• Ensure compliance with standards, codes, and specifications.
