Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Civil Engineer (Site Development) for our McGregor, Texas facilities. You will design, build, and activate infrastructure for aerospace, industrial, and commercial land development projects, leading tasks from start to finish to create a world-class campus supporting missions beyond Earth.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering and 1+ years’ civil engineering design/ drafting experience, with AutoCAD/Civil3D proficiency preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• 1+ years of civil engineering design, analysis, and drafting experience required.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil3D is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and issue drawings, design documentation, and reports for aerospace, industrial, and commercial land development projects.
• Perform calculations for grading, drainage, stormwater facilities, water quality, and underground utilities.
• Coordinate design to obtain local, state, and federal permits for land development and utility construction.
• Manage civil aspects of construction projects in the field, including quality control and contractor coordination.
• Interact with contractors, fabricators, owners, and internal clients to develop requirements, schedules, and cost estimates.
• Resolve design and construction conflicts in the field in real time.
