Job summary

Equinox is seeking a Lead Massage Therapist to join our team in New York. You will lead spa services, welcome members, orient clients to facilities, and oversee daily operations while delivering high‑quality massage treatments.

The role requires NY Massage Therapy License, leadership experience, superb customer service and teamwork. Expect up to 20 treatments per week, marketing outreach, inventory oversight, and a collaborative, high‑performance environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess a NY Massage Therapy License.
• Management or leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire and coach staff members.
• Outreach marketing for the spa.
• Manage daily operations including inventory, client relationships, and achieving financial goals.
• Perform up to 20 treatments per week.
• Provide orientation tour and explain spa amenities to guests.
• Describe spa treatments, packages, services, facility features, and hours.
• Actively promote spa services and programming promotions.
• Handle guests' questions professionally and maintain a clean environment.
