Job summary

Resorts World OMNI LLC is seeking a Sous Chef to lead kitchen operations in the absence of the Executive Chef. The role involves supervising culinary staff, coordinating daily food preparation, and assisting with menu planning and event execution.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree preferred.
• Two-year degree or apprenticeship preferred for advancement.
• Minimum five years as a cook; at least two years in a similar environment.
• Management/supervisory experience preferred; language skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day food prep operations during shift.
• Supervise culinary staff.
• Communicate challenges to Executive Chef.
• Assist in menu planning and event execution for F&B venues.
• Control food and labor costs to meet goals.
• Prepare staff schedules with guidance from the Executive Chef.
