Crescent Hotels & Resorts seeks a Sous Chef for the St. Anthony Hotel in San Antonio, Texas. The role oversees kitchen operations, leads culinary teams, and ensures high standards of food quality and safety.

This position requires 2-3 years of culinary leadership experience, flexibility in scheduling, and the ability to work well under pressure. High-volume banquet experience is a plus and costs/inventory management support guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of previous culinary leadership experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
• Must be effective in handling workplace problems, including anticipating preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary.
• High-volume Banquets experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Supervises kitchen shift operations and ensures compliance with all Food & Beverage policies, standards, and procedures.
• Maintains kitchen inventory and assigned budget.
• Interacts with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.
• Expedites peak meal periods with a hands-on approach.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (OSHA/Health Dept).
