Compass Group USA's Eurest division is hiring immediately for a full-time Sous Chef at Intel RA4 Cafe in Cornelius, OR. The role supports an Executive Chef, coordinates kitchen staff, and ensures production standards.

Hours typically 6:00 am to 2:00 pm or 7:30 am to 3:30 pm with some variability; pay range $24.00–$28.00 per hour; at least 3 years supervisory kitchen experience required. Applications accepted ongoing.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a kitchen environment required.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards.
• Supervises hourly food service associates; interviews, schedules, payroll, training, and reviews as appropriate.
• Stores food in designated areas following all safety procedures.
• Ensures proper food handling, temperatures, and presentation.
• Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils; keeps workstation clean.
• Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a service-oriented manner.
• Explains daily menu items clearly to associates and customers.
• Keeps up with peak production and service hours.
• Monitors inventory and deliveries; informs supervisor when supplies are low.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
