Job summary

Compass Group's Eurest is hiring a full-time Sous Chef at 11625 North Community House Road, Charlotte, NC 28277. The role supports the Executive Chef, coordinates cooks, and oversees kitchen operations to ensure timely production.

Requires at least five years of culinary experience with leadership preferred. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–3:00 pm, with pay between $20.00 and $24.00 per hour. Applications are accepted ongoing.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of culinary experience with leadership preferred.
• Ability to supervise cooks and food-service associates and ensure production standards.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and standards.
• Supervises hourly food service associates including scheduling and training.
• Stores food per safety procedures and maintains sanitation.
• Ensures proper food handling, portion control and serving temperatures.
• Keeps workstation clean; assists with inventory and deliveries.
