Bar 'Cino Brookline, a casual Italian-inspired spot on Beacon Street in Brookline, is hiring a Sous Chef to join a passionate culinary team. You will work with the Executive Chef to oversee daily kitchen operations and lead the team to deliver a memorable guest experience.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of Sous Chef experience in a full-service restaurant, strong leadership and interpersonal skills, and a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have flexible schedule to work during days, nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed.
• A minimum of 2 years of previous experience as a Sous Chef in a full-service establishment.

Responsibilities

• Daily management of kitchen operations and coordination of all kitchen activities including private dining.
• Daily monitoring of prep production and quality checks of all mise en place prior to service.
• Ensures a quality guest experience through oversight of employees preparing and cooking food.
• Ongoing development of BOH employees and kitchen supervisory positions.
• Assist with inventory and purchasing/storage.
• Production of daily specials.
