Job summary

Suser Restaurant Group in the Lakes area is seeking a dedicated Sous Chef to serve as the right hand to the Executive Chef. You will oversee all back-of-house operations, lead the kitchen team, and uphold our standards of quality and consistency.

Joining Sparkies Kitchen & Bar, Stella's Table, and Union 212 Banquet Hall, you will mentor cooks, manage prep and inventory, and collaborate on menu development while ensuring health codes and safety are maintained.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of culinary experience in a full-service restaurant.
• At least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily back-of-house operations with the Executive Chef.
• Lead kitchen team during service and coach staff.
• Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency.
• Manage prep lists, station assignments, and production schedules.
• Assist with menu development and inventory control.
• Uphold health codes and company policies.
