Job summary

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar in Memphis, TN seeks a dedicated Sous Chef to uphold high culinary standards and lead the kitchen team. You will supervise staff, ensure timely food production, and drive safe, clean operations in a fine-dining environment.

You will implement strong safety and sanitation practices, train associates, and help maintain an inclusive culture that mirrors Fleming’s values. Prior casual or fine dining leadership and a 21+ work eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years prior kitchen supervisory or kitchen management experience.
• Minimum 2 years of polished casual or fine dining experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Drive high-quality employee standards by maintaining a fully staffed kitchen and fostering an inclusive environment.
• Supervise kitchen set-up and food production to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
• Ensure line checks, recipe adherence, expo management, cook times and presentation meet high standards.
• Enforce safety and sanitation practices and uphold the brand's principles and beliefs.
