You will partner with engineering and business teams to optimize cost, reduce risk, and maximize value across vendor ecosystems. Wednesday onsite required, contract duration 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing activities for complex and strategic Marketing and Public Affairs supplier engagements.
• Support sourcing across MarTech, AdTech, digital media, creative services, communications, research, events, sponsorships, and technology-enabled services.
• Develop and execute category strategies that optimize costs, improve supplier performance, mitigate risk, and support business objectives.
• Assess the MarTech technology stack and identify overlapping capabilities, underutilized licenses, and consolidation opportunities.
• Review expiring agreements and identify opportunities for supplier consolidation, cost reduction, service improvements, and value creation.
• Lead the supplier negotiation process from RFP through SOW and contract award.
• Manage vendor communications, proposal evaluations, negotiation strategies, and award recommendations.
• Negotiate SaaS, usage-based, AI, data privacy, security, legal, governance, and risk-related contract terms.
• Draft, review, and manage contract language based on evolving business, technology, regulatory, and market requirements.
• Serve as a sourcing and technology advisor to help engineering and business teams identify and address their technology needs.

Job description

A well-known Financial Services Company is seeking a Lead Sourcing Consultant in Charlotte, NC (Hybrid) to support Marketing and Public Affairs technology sourcing initiatives.

This role will join the Corporate Services Strategic Sourcing Team within the Chief Administrative Office and serve as a strategic sourcing subject matter expert for the enterprise marketing technology (MarTech) and advertising technology (AdTech) ecosystem.

Contract Duration: 6 Months

Work Schedule: Hybrid — 3 days onsite and 2 days remote; Wednesday onsite is required
