• Lead all aspects of supplier negotiations, including strategy development, vendor communications, evaluations, and awards.

Our client, a leading organization in the industry, is seeking a Contract Sourcing Specialist to join their team. As a Contract Sourcing Specialist, you will be part of the Corporate Services Strategic Sourcing Team supporting Marketing and Public Affairs technology sourcing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong strategic thinking, excellent negotiation skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Charlotte, NC

Pay Range: $50-55/hr. on W2

What's the Job?

• Lead end-to-end sourcing lifecycle activities for complex, high-risk, and strategic Marketing and Public Affairs supplier engagements, including marketing technology (MarTech), advertising technology (AdTech), digital media, creative services, communications, research, events, sponsorships, and related technology-enabled services.
• Develop and execute category strategies across the MarTech stack to optimize costs, improve supplier performance, mitigate risk, and support enterprise business objectives.
• Review expiring Marketing and Public Affairs agreements, identify opportunities for supplier consolidation, service improvements, and cost reduction, and support timely renewals or sourcing events.
• Lead all aspects of supplier negotiations, including development of category and negotiation strategies, vendor communications, proposal evaluations, and award recommendations.
• Negotiate modern SaaS and consumption-based commercial models, including AI-specific contract provisions, data rights, and responsible AI commitments, ensuring compliance with evolving market and regulatory requirements.
