Job summary

Enel North America is seeking a Lead Solar Technician to support multiple solar plants in Texas. You will supervise up to 10 technicians, prioritize daily work, and ensure reliability and safety in maintenance activities.

Responsibilities include installation, testing, troubleshooting of electrical components, and providing technical guidance. Travel up to 25% is required, with overtime as needed. Strong safety culture and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in renewable energy sector or 3+ years with an Associates degree
• Supervisory experience of field staff as a lead or foreman
• Strong attention to detail and safety culture
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and work overtime when needed
• Ability to read schematics and use electrical test equipment

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to a team of up to 10 Field Service Technicians
• Schedule and prioritize work to maximize generation
• Install, test, maintains and troubleshoots components
• Perform current and voltage calculations as necessary
• Complete safety documentation and training records
