Job summary

The AES Corporation is seeking a hands-on Construction Project Manager to lead utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects in the United States. You will coordinate with safety, engineering, and EPC partners to deliver on schedule, budget, and quality while upholding AES's values.

This role demands on-site leadership, daily coordination of subcontractors, QA/QC oversight, and proactive risk management.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large-scale solar/BESS construction projects.
• Strong safety culture and compliance with regulations.
• Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and EPC partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site project execution for utility-scale solar and BESS projects.
• Coordinate safety, engineering, and EPC contractors to meet schedule and budget.
• Manage landowner communications and community relations.
• Conduct daily safety walks and report findings to head of safety programs.
• Oversee QA/QC plans and ensure milestones are signed off by stakeholders.
• Maintain project documentation, change orders, and progress reports.
• Interface with DEQ/AHJ as needed and manage risk and issues.
• Drive continuous improvement and effective closeout of projects.
