Job summary

AES Corporation seeks an experienced on-site Construction Manager for utility-scale solar and Battery Energy Storage projects in the United States. You will coordinate with EPCs, manage schedules, budgets, and safety, and serve as the owner’s representative on site. Regular travel and field leadership are essential.

Minimum qualifications include 5 years in solar/building management, advanced construction knowledge, OSHA-30, and Procore familiarity. FAA 107 is a plus; remote work is not typical.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of onsite utility-scale solar, battery storage, and/or substation construction management.
• Advanced knowledge of solar construction management processes, means and methods.
• FAA 107 license a plus; willing to travel and be on site five days a week.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; Procore experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate on-site safety goals with the safety department as highest priority.
• Manage contracts, change orders, and documentation with EPC partners.
• Lead landowner communications and address environmental concerns promptly.
• Track schedule progress, drive punch lists, and ensure QA/QC adherence.
