Job summary

Sunrun in Honolulu, Hawaii is seeking a Lead Installer to join our residential solar installation crew. You will work with a team to complete installations, guiding fellow installers and ensuring quality and safety on every job.

The role offers competitive hourly pay, opportunities for advancement, and involvement in our Power+ program. Overtime and travel may be required, with a focus on reliable, customer-ready energy solutions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Solar installation experience required; familiarity with residential installs.
• Must maintain a clean driving record and pass a background check.
• Adheres to safety policies and encourages safe work.
• Ability to build relationships with customers and coworkers.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and key metrics.
• Power+ program participation may cross-train to other roles.

Responsibilities

• Review inventory at loading dock to ensure crew truck is stocked.
• Layout and assemble solar modules, mounts, electrical equipment and tools.
• Apply weather sealing to roofing structure and supports.
• Assemble racking, modules, panels or supports per project plan.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.
• Perform project cleanup at client site and vehicle.
• Lead crew through safe, efficient installations and provide supervision.
