Job summary

Sunrun Inc. in Honolulu, Hawaii is seeking an Installer to join our residential solar installation team.

You will work with the Foreperson and Lead Installer to complete projects, focusing on safety, quality, and teamwork to deliver reliable solar systems for homeowners. The role emphasizes on-site work, adherence to safety protocols, and collaboration with crew members to assemble modules, mounts, and electrical components in accordance with project plans.

Qualifications

• Experience in solar, construction or military preferred but not required.
• Ability to identify and report safety hazards per policy.
• Able to work with customers and coworkers in a courteous and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Ensure personal, crew and job site safety.
• Review inventory at loading dock to stock the crew truck.
• Complete layout and assemble solar modules, racking, mechanical and electrical equipment per plan.
• Apply weather sealing to roofing structure, building or support mechanisms.
• Perform project cleanup to maintain a clean job site.
