Job summary

Sunrun is hiring a Lead Installer to join our residential solar installation team in Irvine, CA. You will work with a crew to complete solar installations, coordinate daily tasks, and ensure safety compliance on site.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a driving background check. You will lead technicians, train teammates, and participate in the Power+ program to grow your career with Sunrun.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must maintain a clean driving record and be able to pass a background check.
• Ability to follow safety policies and participate in training sessions.

Responsibilities

• Review inventory at loading dock to ensure crew truck is stocked.
• Layout and assemble solar modules, mounts, electrical equipment and tools.
• Assemble racking and solar modules per project plan; install weather sealing.
• Lead crew through safe, effective installations and ensure site safety at all times.
• May assist with solar battery installations and act as foreperson in absence.
