Job summary

BEAR Construction Company is seeking a Superintendent (Renewable Energy Division) to oversee projects from start to finish, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, field leadership, schedule execution, documentation, and clear communication. You will work with the project team, owner's representatives, and trades on-site in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires coordinating civil, electrical, mechanical, and testing scopes, overseeing ground-mount solar systems, and enforcing

• Experience in field leadership and construction oversight.
• Knowledge of safety, health guidelines, and quality control.
• Proficiency with project documentation and coordination tools.

Responsibilities

• Field Leadership, Planning & Schedule: develop phasing plans and look-ahead schedules, track progress, coordinate with partners.
• Safety, Cleanliness & Quality: maintain safe site, enforce safety standards, monitor quality and correct deficiencies.
• Communication & Stakeholder Management: liaise with BEAR, owners, trades, and suppliers; provide clear written documentation.
• Documentation & Controls: read drawings/Specs, track activities, manage RFIs, submittals, and punch lists.
• Renewable Energy Field Execution: coordinate subcontractors, support QC, inspections, and material verification.
