Job summary

BEAR Construction Company is seeking a highly organized Superintendent to lead field teams and coordinate project activities from start to finish. You will develop schedules, monitor progress, manage trade contractors, and ensure safety, quality, and on-budget delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, field experience, and knowledge of construction operations, with familiarity with mobile software and MS Office. OSHA 30 certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as a construction superintendent or similar role.
• Field experience with construction management/engineering preferred.
• Knowledge of local safety, health guidelines for job sites.
• Understanding of construction operations and phase codes.
• Familiarity with mobile software.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to lead and inspire teams.
• OSHA 30 certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan construction by developing schedules and lookaheads.
• Track progress and maintain schedule.
• Purchase equipment and materials.
• Ensure the job site is safe, clean, and orderly.
• Coordinate manpower and field staffing.
• Communicate field conflicts to the project team.
• Maintain up-to-date project documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and management.

• Supervise field staff and provide feedback.
