Job summary

Mortenson is seeking a Laborer General Foreman to organize and direct craft team members based on project schedules, including preparation, handling and supplying materials for others on the crew.

The role requires coordinating foremen and their teams, interpreting blueprints and job orders, and enforcing safety policies on a construction site. Strong leadership and communication are essential to drive on-time project results.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School diploma or GED equivalently.
• Minimum five years of related experience in construction roles.
• Experience with tools, equipment and machinery.
• Strong teamwork, customer service, detail orientation and communication.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and follow defined procedures.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of foremen and their assigned craft workers.
• Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders.
• Interpret company policies and enforce safety regulations.
