Job summary

Overland Contracting Inc. is seeking a Solar Foreman to direct and supervise the planning, layout, installation, testing, and repair of solar photovoltaic construction. This role requires coordinating craft workers, enforcing safety, and ensuring work is completed in accordance with plans and standards.

The Foreman will manage daily activities, review safety processes, mentor crew members, and help optimize productivity while maintaining quality and compliance on site.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Solar Technician with PV construction knowledge.
• Ability to lead and train craft workers safely and efficiently.
• Familiarity with project plans, specifications and safety processes.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise planning, layout, installation, testing and repair of solar PV construction.
• Coordinate craft workers and motivate safety, quality, and productivity.
• Lead pre-job safety planning, assess hazards, and report incidents as needed.
