Job summary

MasTec Renewables seeks a Construction Manager I or II to lead on-site construction for utility-scale solar projects across the US. You will direct activities, ensure safe, on-time, and within-budget delivery while upholding safety standards and company procedures.

Roles require degrees in construction management or related fields, plus several years in construction supervision, preferably in renewables.Travel is up to 100% with per diem and a company vehicle/Fuel card provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three years of construction industry experience/knowledge of construction techniques, estimating and construction management.
• Experience in utility-scale renewables projects such as Solar, BESS or wind.
• Electrical experience on large construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site construction activities, specific to assigned discipline, on assigned project.
• Direct, plan, and manage project timelines and budgets.
• Maintain safety and quality standards on site and with subcontractors.
• Build, supervise and lead teams; communicate goals to crew leads.
• Manage procurement package elements and monitor milestones.
• Foster client relationships and ensure alignment with expectations.
• Travel up to 100% and be onsite at project locations.
• Support safety, training, and performance monitoring.
