Job summary

MasTec Renewables seeks a Construction Manager to lead utility-scale solar projects nationwide, directing on-site construction while ensuring safety, quality, and profitability. Positions cover CM I and II with discipline options in civil, mechanical, electrical, piles, or logistics.

The role involves extensive travel (up to 100%), per diem, and potential project rotation across states. A Bachelor’s in CM or related field, plus relevant experience, is required to qualify.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three years of construction industry experience/knowledge of construction techniques, estimating and construction management.
• High voltage electrical experience on large construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Promote and comply with all Company and safety policies and procedures.
• Oversee all construction activities, specific to assigned discipline, on assigned project.
• Construct the project and work with the management team to maximize the profit of the project.
• Monitor and oversee construction activities and personnel within the delivery timelines, including development plans and training requirements.
• Keep Construction Manager II/III informed of overall construction activity progress & performance along with monitoring and review of construction key performance indicators.
• Cooperate with all matters relating to health and safety, including following safe working procedures at all times.
• Act as a role model for the company's vision and values, behaving in ways that are in alignment with the company's ways of working while encouraging others to do so as well.
• Promote equality in the workplace and adopt appropriate behavior when interacting with colleagues.
