Capitol Valley Electric, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Solar & BESS Superintendent to lead on-site execution of PV and BESS projects across California.

This role requires extensive travel and deep technical knowledge of solar and battery systems, electrical construction, and California codes and standards. The Superintendent serves as the primary field authority, ensuring projects are built safely, on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with contract documents, AHJ requirements, and

Qualifications

• 7+ years in commercial or utility-scale solar construction with superintendent or lead foreman experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of PV and BESS installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Strong electrical background with NEC/CA codes.
• Willingness to travel across California to multiple sites.
• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical and construction documents.
• Proven leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to travel extensively in CA.

Responsabilités

• Lead on-site superintendent for commercial solar PV and BESS installations.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily construction activities across electrical, civil, structural, and commissioning teams.
• Maintain site logistics, sequencing, manpower planning, and productivity.
• Travel extensively to project sites across California with overnight stays as required.
• Provide clear daily and weekly updates on progress, risks, and manpower.
• Enforce safety policies and compliance with NEC, CBC, CEC, and Title 24.
