Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking an experienced Software Test Engineer to lead Verification/Validation for the Digital Energy software platform and drive test strategy within a development team in the United States. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering, CS, IT, Software Engineering or related field. 3+ years in software testing.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with performance testing and tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for edge software applications.
• Execute manual and automated tests to identify defects and ensure product quality.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers and stakeholders on testing strategies.
• Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains intact.
• Analyze test results and work with teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain and update test documentation including plans and scripts.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on quality and testability.
• Stay up-to-date with testing tools and industry trends to improve processes.
• Ensure compliance with software testing standards and best practices.
