Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Engineer Software (T03) – Integration & Test Automation to work on-site in San Diego, CA or Palmdale, CA. The role involves analyzing requirements for software items and developing automated tests across the SDLC for embedded systems.

The candidate should have strong experience in software integration, testing, and debugging, plus Agile practices and CI/CD tooling. Top Secret/SCI clearance is required; travel up to 25% may be needed.

Qualifications

Experience in software integration, testing, and debugging.
Experience with full SDLC methodologies and requirements through test.
Active Top Secret/SPI clearance (SCI).

Responsibilities

Analyze requirements allocated to computer software configuration items.
Design, develop, maintain and execute automated software tests for embedded software.
Develop and execute software installation, integration, and acceptance test procedures in an automated environment.
Develop detailed, clear, and quality technical documentation.
Collaborate with software developers and engineers to diagnose problems found during testing.
Submit detailed problem reports for errors found.
Perform statements of work within development, lab, and operational environments.
