Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Principal Engineer Software (T03) to lead integration and test automation for embedded real‑time systems. Work in an IPT to design, develop, and validate automated tests, and contribute to software life cycle activities across design, development, and validation.

Qualifications

• Experience in software integration, software testing, test automation, and debugging.
• Experience with SDLC methodologies and requirements through test.
• Agile framework and methodologies experience.
• Strong in OO languages: C/C++, C#, Java; Python/JavaScript.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and Atlassian tool-suite.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements for software configuration items.
• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated tests for embedded software.
• Develop and execute installation, integration, and acceptance tests in automated environments.
• Produce detailed technical documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers to diagnose root causes of issues.
