Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking an Integration and Test Software Engineer to join our on-site team in San Diego, CA. You will work on software supporting systems across the software development lifecycle, in a fast-paced environment with high expectations and change adaptability.

The role requires a STEM degree with a mix of engineering experience, Unix/Windows testing, formal SDLC knowledge, and an active Top Secret clearance (SAP/PAR possible). Travel is up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM disciplines with 2 years of related engineering experience or Master’s degree in STEM with entry level related experience.
• Experience in integration and testing of software and hardware components in Unix and Windows environments.
• Experience with formal software life cycle development methodologies, requirements through test.
• Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance with recent background investigation or in Continuous Evaluation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain initial SAP/PAR access prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform software unit and integration test and test automation.
• Work in development and lab environments and ensure proper environment for integration and testing.
• Troubleshoot software components across networks and document for future integration.
• Collaborate with software developers, system/hardware engineers, and test engineers to diagnose issues.
• Develop detailed technical documentation and submit problem reports.
