Job summary

Crexi is seeking a Manager of Software Engineering to lead a team of engineers, balance people leadership with technical oversight, and partner with product and design to ship high-impact work.

You will own delivery, quality, and engineering standards, drive architecture decisions, and recruit and develop engineers while fostering an inclusive culture. This role offers a fast-paced startup environment in Playa Vista with a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience with 2+ years managing engineers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and grow a team of software engineers, owning performance and development.
• Own the team’s delivery, quality, and operational health, partnering with product and design on roadmap and priorities.
• Provide technical oversight to ensure sound architecture and engineering standards.
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted development tooling to improve quality and velocity.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard engineers and foster an inclusive, high-performing team culture.
